September 30th was recently recognized as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. At Trellis our acknowledgment of this day will align with our commitment to reconciliation. For the last 48 years Trellis has partnered with The Calgary Exhibition and Stampede to host a Youth Work Experience Program for over 250 youth ages 13 to 24, along with 40 adult supervisors. With the provincial announcement on May 26th, we are moving forward with plans to offer our Stampede Youth Work Experience Program this year based on direction from Alberta Health Services (AHS) and the City of Calgary.
